Nah! The shower gel is not shampoo, but those are the perfect alternative. You can use it as shampoo, and it will do the same thing as shampoo does.     1. Maybe the body wash is not suitable for your skin type. If you let me know your skin type, I would probably suggest you a good one for your skin.
